Roadway Project Manager
LVI Associates is currently partnered with a leading 100% employee owned regional firm with a presence throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest. They are looking to bring on a Roadway Project Manager out of their Raleigh office to oversee NCDOT projects. Responsibilities:
The Roadway Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with clients, leading a design team, and collaborating with other design disciplines. They will conduct quality control reviews, prepare scope and fee proposals, and ensure that projects stay within budget and on schedule. Additionally, the manager will assist in the preparation of RFP responses and presentations.
The selected candidate will oversee the design of roadway, sidewalk, and storm drainage construction plans for a variety of infrastructure improvement projects. Key tasks may include designing roadways, trails, and sidewalks; designing open and closed storm drainage systems; developing stormwater management and erosion control plans; creating Transportation Management Plans; preparing signing and pavement marking plans; designing traffic signal plans; performing quantity and cost estimation; coordinating utility adjustments; and handling other engineering design and support tasks related to roadway construction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina
- Experience with NCDOT projects
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Transportation Engineering
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
- Proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
