About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects in the sub sea cable, power, grid, and transmission line sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be fluent in both English and Japanese. This role requires a dynamic individual who can oversee complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including time lines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring adherence to project scope, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any issues or concerns promptly.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Utilize your electrical engineering background to provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with global and Japanese electrical standards and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges.

• Project Management:

  • Implement project management best practices and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report on project status to senior management.
  • Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accountability.

• Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the sub sea cable, power, grid, or transmission line sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience working with both domestic and international stakeholders.

• Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory.
