Role Overview: They are looking for a Junior Forensic Structural Engineer to assist in investigating structural failures and incidents. This role offers a great opportunity to grow in forensic engineering and tackle complex challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Support senior engineers in analyzing and documenting evidence.
  • Conduct site visits to collect data and witness statements.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports.
  • Evaluate structural integrity and safety issues.
  • Participate in team meetings.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
    • Basic understanding of engineering principles and forensic investigation techniques.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Internship or coursework related to forensic engineering or structural analysis.
    • Familiarity with CAD software and engineering analysis tools.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
  • Understanding of laboratory testing methods and data analysis.
