Job Description: As a Forensic Accounting & Litigation Manager/Senior Manager, you will be exposed to working on diverse engagements ranging from accounting procedures for litigation to business appraisal and valuation services. You will perform advanced forensic accounting duties, working directly with corporate clients under the supervision of the senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial valuation, forensic, and appraisal analyses, including developing comparative adjusted financial statements and data input for expert witness exhibits.
- Utilize knowledge of relevant statutory and family codes in forensic accounting practices.
- Engage in client assignments from start to finish.
- Develop forensic and economic models for presenting forensic standard accounting systems.
- Identify and communicate case issues, findings, and improvement opportunities to managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during engagements.
- Work with the discovery team to inventory and reconcile documents and data for submission to courts, attorneys, and clients.
- Assist in preparing exhibits and background information for expert witness testimony.
- Uphold the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.
- Train and mentor staff, build a team-centered client service team, monitor client issues related to compliance services, and oversee engagement status and profitability while meeting client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Experience in Florida family law & forensic accounting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
- 3 years of additional management experience and expert witness testimony for the senior manager title.
- Active CPA preferred.
- Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
- Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.
- Proficient in applicable technology.
