About the Role: The role primarily involves designing electrical systems for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects. Responsibilities include creating construction drawings and specifications, conducting existing system studies, and participating in master planning efforts. Qualified candidates will collaborate with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors, and others to address electrical issues and develop effective working relationships. The projects span various sectors, including high-rise mixed-use, low-rise multi-family, commercial, tenant improvement, shell and core office buildings, education, and healthcare. We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to contribute to the growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for projects.
- Plan and evaluate electrical systems for different buildings.
- Survey and document existing electrical systems.
- Calculate designs and choose equipment.
- Write project specifications.
- Prepare design documents and reports.
- Apply relevant codes to projects.
- Coordinate with other teams.
- Provide support during construction.
