Salary: $110,000 - $160,000
About the Firm: My client is a leading engineering firm specializing in mechanical and electrical consulting services. 70 years of experience providing innovative and reliable solutions for mission-critical facilities, including data centers, airports, and industrial projects. They are looking for someone equally dedicated to delivering sustainable and scalable designs that meet the unique needs of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Designing power systems, including layout and circuiting of various equipment and completion of panel schedules
- Developing power solutions involving UPS, generator support systems, mechanical systems, and other equipment
- Creating detailed electrical one-line diagrams
- Planning conduit routing and circuiting for different applications
- Performing electrical calculations such as short circuit and voltage drop
- Conducting coordination studies for fuses and circuit breakers
- Preparing detailed studies and cost comparisons for electrical systems
- Developing specifications for lighting and power systems
- Reviewing technical drawings and submittals from contractors
- Observing construction to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Applying local and national building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Traveling for client meetings and field surveys as needed
- Staying current with industry trends through seminars and training events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
- Professional Engineer License
- Strong understanding of
- Must be available to travel occasionally
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
