Document Controller - VIC / NSW
We are currently working closely with a leading firm in the infrastructure sector, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that enhance the built environment. Due to recent project success, the company are expanding and seeking a meticulous and organised Document Controller to join the dynamic team.
The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation for infrastructure projects. This role ensures that documents are easily accessible, properly stored, and accurately updated, supporting the project team in achieving timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Maintain and manage all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and reports.
- Quality Control: Ensure all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Filing and Archiving: Organize and archive documents systematically for easy retrieval and reference.
- Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure document control processes are followed.
- Tracking and Reporting: Monitor document status and provide regular updates to the project team.
- Compliance: Ensure all documentation complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in infrastructure projects.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in document management software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
