We're seeking a forward-thinking Chief Mechanical Engineer to lead the quality control of mechanical design projects across a diverse range of industries, including life sciences, mission-critical facilities, commercial developments, and industrial sectors.

What you will be doing:
Lead quality control efforts for all mechanical design projects, including project planning, design reviews, and final submissions for permits and construction
Establish and maintain design standards for the Mechanical Division
Provide mentorship and guidance to a talented team of mechanical engineers
Develop innovative solutions for complex mechanical design challenges
Oversee projects from concept through completion, ensuring design excellence
Collaborate directly with clients to understand needs and deliver exceptional results
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or 20+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
Minimum of 10 years of mechanical engineering experience with demonstrated project leadership
Professional Engineering (PE) License required
U.S. Citizenship
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, design principles, and industry trends
Broad project experience across sectors such as life sciences, mission-critical, commercial, and industrial (training support available for sectors where direct experience is limited)
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Solid understanding of project management principles
Strategic thinker capable of aligning engineering solutions with client business goals
