Cadastral Surveyor - Brisbane
We are currently working closely with an innovative engineering consultancy firm specialising in land surveying, spatial analysis, and geospatial solutions. As a client-centric firm, the company is known for their commitment to delivering high quality service to their clients and professionalism.
Due to recent success, the company is expanding in Brisbane and looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cadastral Surveyor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, cadastral mapping, and boundary determination. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage projects, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the development of innovative surveying solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cadastral surveys and boundary determinations.
- Prepare and review survey plans, maps, and legal descriptions.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software (e.g., GPS, Total Stations, AutoCAD).
- Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior surveyors.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience working on residential projects is highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cadastral surveying.
- Licensed Surveyor certification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in surveying software and equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
