Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a talented AV Field Service Engineer with expertise in Crestron systems to join their growing team. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced AV systems at client locations. A strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission advanced AV systems, with a focus on Crestron control systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support for AV equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Provide training and technical guidance to clients to ensure they maximize their AV system's potential.
- Perform system testing and quality assurance checks.
- Keep thorough documentation of service activities, client interactions, and system configurations.
- Stay current with AV industry trends and technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an AV Field Service Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Crestron systems and programming.
- Expertise in AV system installation, troubleshooting, and configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel to various client sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Crestron certification (e.g., Crestron Certified Programmer, Crestron DMC-E).
- Experience with other AV control systems like AMX or Extron.
- Familiarity with networking and IT infrastructure.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $50.00, based on experience.
