Were currently working with a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) specializing in renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on distributed generation solar projects. They are looking for a dedicated Solar Assistant Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary: The Solar Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and completion of distributed generation solar projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing resources, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines for distributed generation solar projects.
- Resource Coordination: Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress and report status updates to stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain project documentation, including reports and meeting minutes.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues and risks.
- Support: Provide administrative support, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and preparing estimates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Procore, and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance and safety standards.
