Traffic Engineer
A leading engineering firm is looking for a seasoned Traffic Engineer to oversee the preparation and delivery of PS&E packages for transportation infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in compliance with applicable standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and review of PS&E packages across various transportation disciplines
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project completeness and accuracy
Manage schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and maintain quality
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Oversee quality control processes and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Present updates and reports to clients and stakeholders
Identify and mitigate project risks
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
10+ years of transportation project management experience, including PS&E work
Experience working with public agencies and on a variety of project types
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer) preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
