Position Summary
As the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and developing strategic partnerships within the water and wastewater treatment sectors. You will lead a high-performing sales team, develop go-to-market strategies, and ensure delivery of sales targets for separation equipment across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve growth targets across municipal, industrial, and commercial sectors.
- Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to deliver high-performance outcomes and pipeline development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including consultants, contractors, utilities, and end-users.
- Identify new market opportunities and lead initiatives to expand product and service offerings.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align customer needs with technical solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to build brand awareness and credibility.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry developments to inform business decisions.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and budget tracking for senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of sales experience in water, wastewater, or related infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record in managing national or regional sales teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.
- In-depth knowledge of separation technologies (e.g., screens, centrifuges, filters, clarifiers) and their application in treatment processes.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with long-cycle solution selling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel as required across Australia.
