Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Substation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-voltage utility substation projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage substation design projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and review substation protection and control designs.
- Perform advanced engineering studies and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
- Conduct quality control reviews and ensure project documentation is accurate.
- Manage project financials, resources, and timelines.
- Provide technical support and expertise during project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation design and engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, can be working towards one
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
