Position: Structural Designer

Role Overview: They are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, with the ability to work on a variety of projects, ensuring they are safe, functional, and meet all project specifications. Candidates with an architectural design background are also encouraged to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed structural designs and plans for various projects, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential structures.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs are integrated seamlessly with other project elements.
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other structural modeling tools to create accurate and detailed drawings.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess project conditions.
  • Prepare and present design reports and documentation for client review and approval.
  • Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in design.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in structural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and materials.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
