Salary Range: $110k - $140k
Description:
As a Senior Project Architect, you will have the opportunity to be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team of technical experts working on challenging projects across various business portfolios, including Environment, Industry, Commercial, Transportation, Federal, and Water.
Senior Project Architect Responsibilities:
- Supervise and collaborate with junior staff to plan, program, and design buildings, and prepare design presentations and construction contract documents.
- Establish building design criteria in direct consultation with clients. Lead the creation of presentation materials and deliver presentations.
- Guide the development and coordination of building design and construction contract documents with architectural and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Mentor project architects and junior architectural staff on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Determine construction materials, technologies, and methodologies for detailing.
- Prepare and edit technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant planning, zoning, and building codes and regulations, including coordination with regulatory agencies.
- Act as Quality Control and independent reviewer for other architects' work.
- Manage the development of project budgets and schedules, both internal and external, and monitor projects through completion.
- Support sales efforts, meet with clients, and serve as the Project Technical Lead for architecture-driven projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- 11 years of related experience with RA certification.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required, depending on specific duties, responsibilities, and essential functions of the position, which may vary based on workload and project demands.
Certification/License Requirements:
- Registered Architect.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NCARB Certificate for reciprocity.
- Experience in signing and sealing project documents.
Travel Requirements:
- 10% travel.
Skills and Abilities:
- Expert technical knowledge and design application expertise.
- Proficient in technologies and methodologies related to construction materials.
- Advanced knowledge of Building Information Modeling and software, preferably Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with rendering software programs.
- Proficient in Bluebeam Revue.
- Strong knowledge of basic business office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
