Position Summary:
This company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for water treatment plant projects in the Houston area. The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day construction activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all field operations, including workforce coordination, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents, specifications, and safety requirements.
Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors to maintain project schedules and resolve issues.
Maintain daily reports, jobsite photos, and project documentation.
Lead safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
Monitor quality control and implement corrective actions as needed.
Act as the primary onsite contact
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on water/wastewater treatment plants or similar heavy civil projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with project management tools and reporting software is a plus.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
