About the Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced O&M Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage external O&M contractors and field service organizations, ensuring successful system repairs, inspections, site visits, and service calls. You will also be responsible for scheduling and organizing service work, maintaining good relationships with local communities, and updating O&M reports for internal and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee external O&M contractors and field service teams, providing direction for system repairs, inspections, site visits, and service calls.
- Quote, schedule, and organize service work as requested by external O&M providers.
- Maintain positive relationships with local communities near project sites.
- Regularly update O&M reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external O&M contractors and in-house technicians for spare parts management.
- Support the Asset Management team with reporting and insurance claims.
- Identify potential vendors to enhance options for resolving technical issues.
- Conduct safety briefings, audits, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar projects.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills, particularly in contractual matters.
- Proficiency in quoting, scheduling, order management, and payment arrangements.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid standard driving license.
- Fluent business English and Japanese
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of solar-related equipment such as inverters, substations for grid connection, and PV modules.
- Experience using monitoring systems to assess plant or equipment performance.
