Role and Responsibilities: As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead structural engineering design projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct structural investigations, performance evaluations, and design for new constructions and rehabilitation projects.
- Prepare and review analysis and design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for projects.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with industry standards and practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in structural engineering, including design, condition assessment, and remedial work design.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE) and AutoCAD (experience with Revit and/or SketchUp is a plus).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
