We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Environmental Engineer to join the Seattle office at this employee-owned firm, contributing to their PNW business unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental remediation, including experience in soil vapor extraction systems, vapor intrusion mitigation systems, and other remedial system design and implementation. As a Senior Engineer, you will lead and manage environmental engineering projects from design through execution, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee the implementation of soil vapor extraction systems, vapor intrusion mitigation systems, and other remedial technologies.
Lead project teams and collaborate with clients to deliver timely and cost-effective environmental solutions.
Perform technical analysis, prepare feasibility studies, remedial action plans, and provide regulatory compliance support.
Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.
Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Maintain and build relationships with federal, state, and private clients.
Ensure all projects meet environmental, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental engineering, with specific expertise in remedial systems, including soil vapor extraction and vapor intrusion mitigation.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, state and local environmental laws).
Experience working with federal, state, and private sector clients.
Proven project management skills, including budget management, scheduling, and client relations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary:
$110,000 - $155,000 base salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
