Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned Construction Project Manager to join the team in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the water and wastewater treatment sector. This role demands a strategic thinker who can oversee project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing phases of construction projects for water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and lift stations.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on $30 million projects.
- Extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
