Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Forensic Engineer to join our dynamic team in Orlando. This role focuses on investigating structural failures, identifying causes, and providing expert assessments to guide restoration or litigation efforts. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations into structural failures, building envelope issues, and other performance concerns.
- Perform site visits, document findings, and analyze construction defects or damage.
- Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and internal departments to provide expert opinions and solutions.
- Prepare detailed forensic reports and deliver findings in a clear, professional manner.
- Support marketing and business development efforts related to forensic engineering services.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred).
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in forensic engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer License in Florida.
- Proficiency in forensic investigation tools, structural engineering software, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site, travel on short notice, and manage multiple projects.
