Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Purpose: Design and program DDC Systems by creating project design packages and programming data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organise Design Projects: Accept new projects, complete documentation, understand requirements, and collaborate with Sales and Manager for scheduling.
- Prepare Design Packages: Complete wiring diagrams, sequences of operation, bills of materials, and schedules as required.
- Coordinate Turnover to Project Management: Prepare project manuals, transfer unique project data, and review information with Project Manager.
- Organise Programming Projects: Accept projects, analyse workload time lines, understand requirements, and collaborate with the programming and Ops management team.
- Prepare Programming Projects: Create DDC programs, document programming, create project displays, test for proper operation, and organise turnover to technicians.
- Coordinate Programming Issues During Construction: Make necessary changes, assist technicians with commissioning, and make site visits as needed.
- Ensure System Oparability: Assist in onsite performance verification with the technician.
- Complete Design Packages: Finalize As-built documentation, archive backups, and assist with turnover to the Service department.

- Maintain Industry Technical Knowledge: Attend workshops, review industry publications, and stay updated on proper installation methods and product specifications.
- Willingness and Ability to Travel: Recognise the importance of high-profile customers and respond with urgency to their needs.
