Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage building automation projects within the data center space from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, building automation systems, and team leadership. This role requires excellent organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage building automation projects within data centers, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, installation, and commissioning, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and any issues to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preffered,
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with at least 8 years in the building automation industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of building automation systems, (Distech or Tridium)
  • Experience working within the data center space is highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed to project sites.
