Position: Project Manager - Power Delivery Construction (High/Medium Voltage)
Currently seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage the execution of high- and medium-voltage power delivery construction projects. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid foundation in project management and a deep understanding of electrical infrastructure projects, particularly in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment.
Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You'll coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to manage all phases of construction, from initial planning through final delivery. Depending on the project scale and client requirements, you may also lead and mentor assistant project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of EPC project execution, including planning, scheduling, procurement, and construction oversight
Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
Define project scope and manage changes and risk mitigation strategies
Track and control project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
Lead project-related communications, ensuring clear and timely updates to all stakeholders
Prepare and coordinate bids and proposal responses
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards on job sites
Supervise on-site construction teams and provide leadership in the field when required
Support team development through training and mentorship of junior staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience managing large-scale projects valued at over $5 million, ideally in the high-voltage electrical sector
Familiarity with substation and switchyard construction and design is a strong advantage
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Experience with construction/project management platforms such as Vista (Viewpoint) is a plus
Must meet eligibility criteria for driving and insurance under company policies
Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and project oversight
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
