About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Controls Design Engineer with expertise in Distech solutions to join our team. This fully remote role involves designing and developing building automation control systems, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in data center environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop control system designs, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operations for building automation projects.
- Prepare submittals, system documentation, and project specifications in alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Utilize Distech controls and related software for system configuration and layout.
- Support the project lifecycle from design to implementation, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Provide remote troubleshooting and technical guidance as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in building automation controls design.
- Strong proficiency in Distech
- Experience in data centers, commercial buildings, or mission-critical facilities preferred.
- Ability to create detailed submittals, diagrams, and control sequences.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, networking, and BACnet/LON communication protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
