Transmission Line Engineer
A collaborative engineering firm supporting utilities nationwide with electrical, civil, and structural design services is looking to expand its team. This firm's work spans power delivery, renewables, data centers, and industrial facilities. This client is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to lead design efforts on high-voltage transmission projects. This is a remote role with flexibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to work on impactful utility infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Design high-voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD and foundation tools (L-Pile, MFAD, Caisson).
Develop plans, specifications, and construction documents.
Manage project resources, mentor junior staff, and coordinate across teams.
Support client communication and contribute to business development.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis); Master's preferred.
5+ years of experience in transmission line design.
PE license preferred.
Proficient in PLS-CADD; experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Benefits:
Salary range: $100,000-$130,000 (based on experience).
