Mid to Senior Level Environmental Associate
Position Overview: A well-established environmental services team in Eureka, Redding, or Willits, CA is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic licensed geologist or engineer. The team consists of 20 staff members with diverse experience levels, from recent graduates to those nearing retirement. Eight staff members hold either a PE or PG license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
- Manage multidisciplinary and regional environmental remediation projects
- Assist communities with compliance issues
- Manage construction and industrial sites for stormwater runoff during rainy periods
- Collaborate with private industry clients (forest products, real estate, energy generation and distribution) and public sector clients (state agencies, cities, and tribes)
Ideal Candidate:
- Well-rounded and experienced with all stages of project implementation, including project management
- Maintains good relationships and enjoys collaboration and creativity on projects
- Interested in supporting the continued technical development of the Environmental Services group
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of environmental compliance experience
- BS or BA in Environmental Studies, Geology, or Engineering
- Working knowledge of conditions and environmental requirements in the northern California region
- Professional licensing (PE or PG) or QSD/TOR/QISP registration in California
