Position: Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Environmental division. This role offers the opportunity to work among a team of diverse professionals, providing a full range of environmental due diligence services. Our clients include government agencies, land developers, and lending institutions. Our team has extensive experience in environmental assessments at various sites, from undeveloped properties to complex industrial facilities. We combine our engineering and design capabilities with construction and remediation expertise to deliver effective environmental management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform environmental site investigations, engineering analysis, and design development.
- Conduct groundwater monitoring, SPCC plans and inspections, UST closures, environmental compliance, and permitting.
- Ensure quality standards and practices are met.
- Lead safety efforts and ensure team adherence to safety guidelines.
- Network with clients to identify and define projects, develop proposals, and maintain quality and risk management processes.
- Ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Develop practical solutions to help clients achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related technical field.
- 8 to 12 years of related work experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Geologist (PG) license or ability to obtain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with leadership capabilities.
- Attention to detail and willingness to occasionally work extended hours.
- Ability to interpret and apply State and Federal technical guidance and regulations.
- 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain).
