Transportation Project Manager
A multidisciplinary, employee-owned national firm is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their highly sought-after roadway team in Chicago, Illinois. With over a century of experience in Civil Engineering, this firm has successfully created and maintained numerous client relationships, continuously serving as the prime contractor on roadway projects across Illinois. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, mentoring junior staff, and nurturing client relationships on both the public and private sides.
The Transportation Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Manage a team of engineers and designers
- Oversee projects involving highways, local roads, freeways, and interchanges
- Maintain existing client relationships while fostering new ones
- Collaborate with other experts within the department
The Transportation Project Manager should have the following qualification:
- 10+ years of transportation experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in Illinois
- Knowledge and understanding of Microstation and Open Roads Designer (ORD)
- Experience working on IDOT, CDOT, and Illinois Tollway projects
