Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Pasadena, Santa Ana, or San Francisco, CA

Travel: 25-50% both in & out of state

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations of property conditions
  • Estimate potential costs
  • Review building plans
  • Perform various assessments and audits related to energy, systems, and construction
  • Interact with site personnel and clients in both technical and non-technical contexts
  • Engage in diverse projects that offer unique challenges and opportunities
  • Travel to different project locations as needed

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • PE licensed in CA
  • 15+ years of experience in engineering design
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • HVAC and plumbing expertise is required, and a working knowledge of electrical and fire protection systems
  • General understanding of building codes and experience in facilities engineering, energy assessments, and sustainability consulting
  • Capability to evaluate systems, identify issues, and provide solutions for clients
  • Interest in sustainability and ability to align it with legal requirements
  • Marketing services to clients
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software
