Senior Bridge Engineer
A multidisciplinary national firm is looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer to their MA/NH leadership team! This national firm has the resources of a large nationwide company with a small company feel that operates regionally. This candidate will have the opportunity to operate in a technical leadership role for a variety of highway and transit design and load rating projects for agencies including MassDOT, MBTA, RIDOT, RITBA, and NHDOT. In this role, this candidate will be involved with directing and mentoring a team of engineers in leading design tasks for bridges, culverts, foundations, retaining walls, and other highway and rail/transit-related infrastructure.
The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for:
- Provides leadership on multiple projects of varying size and complexity
- Provides technical engineering expertise to project managers, engineers, and/or clients to ensure the project complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions
- Reviews, analyzes, and resolves field and/or design issues
- Provides leadership to project teams and support staff
The Senior Structural Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Civil Engineering degree
- 12-15+ years preferred
- Experience in the inspection and/or design of, but not limited to, bridges, roadways, railroads, marinas, and/or ports
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Structural Engineer (S.E.) certification
