Construction Manager Position
Location: Baltimore, MD
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage and oversee construction projects with a focus on geotechnical engineering aspects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support for geotechnical engineering projects, including foundation design, soil stabilization, and earth retention systems.
- Documentation: Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, reports, and construction plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on geotechnical engineering projects.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or Construction Management certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in construction management software.
