Responsibilities:
- Design and manage electrical systems for educational, industrial, healthcare, laboratory, and commercial projects.
- Develop conceptual designs, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates while conducting field inspections.
- Work on power distribution, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm, and security systems.
- Assist in RFP responses, project management, and client meetings.
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 8-20 years of experience in electrical engineering; Bachelor's Degree required.
- Maryland PE license required; U.S. citizenship necessary for security clearance.
- Experience with AutoCAD (Revit preferred), power system analysis software, and lighting design tools.
- Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, fire alarms, and security systems.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
- Valid driver's license required.
