Remote Controls Engineer (Data Center)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems for data center projects, with a focus on Ignition by Inductive Automation. In this role, you will drive automation strategies, develop scalable SCADA/HMI solutions, and ensure system integration aligns with high-availability data center requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement industrial control systems using Ignition.
Develop and deploy SCADA/HMI applications for monitoring and control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems across power, cooling, and building automation.
Lead project lifecycle from concept through commissioning and support.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and data center operational requirements.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.
Strong expertise in Ignition (Perspective & Vision modules preferred).
Experience with data center systems or mission-critical environments.
Proficiency in PLC programming, networking, and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, BACnet, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills.
