Job Description:

Summary: The primary role of the Controls Engineer is to estimate, design, and commission control systems. This position also involves responding to emergency situations when equipment fails and assisting clients on-site to restore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement equipment/systems ensuring compliance, quality, technical performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot various industrial control platforms at customer sites.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to manage projects, gather feedback, resolve issues, and address concerns.
  • Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with applicable safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting control systems and performing engineering duties related to automation equipment on machinery.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron.
  • Expertise in SCADA development with Ignition.
  • Experience with VFDs, electrical systems, and servos.
