Location: Ligonier, PA
Responsibilities:
- Design structures, check calculations, develop plans, assist with CAD, and prepare project documents.
- Lead and coordinate design tasks with the Project Manager.
- Perform bridge inspections, load ratings, and develop reports occasionally.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 4-10 years
- PE or EIT
- Certified Bridge Inspector (CBSI/CBI) preferred or ability to obtain certification.
- Fracture critical training certification and experience desirable.
Knowledge:
- Structural design (steel, prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete).
- Proficient in CADD (Microstation, AutoCAD).
- Familiar with engineering principles, design standards, and codes.
- Experience with PennDOT, ODOT, or WVDOH bridge design procedures.
- Preparation of plans, reports, and specifications.
- Bridge inspection procedures and report development.
