Senior Geologist
An established environmental and engineering firm is seeking a Senior Geologist to join their Sacramento office. What You'll Do:
Lead and manage environmental site investigations, remediation projects, and groundwater monitoring programs.
Serve as technical lead on multidisciplinary project teams.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders to develop and execute effective project strategies.
Mentor junior geologists and support staff, sharing your expertise and helping shape the next generation of environmental professionals.
Develop proposals, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
8-15 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
Strong background in field investigations, sampling techniques, and data interpretation.
Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, or other state/federal environmental regulations.
Excellent communication, writing, and leadership skills.
Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred (California or eligible for reciprocity).
Must be able to travel locally as needed and possess a valid driver's license.

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
