Forensic Structural Engineer
We have a current opportunity for a Forensic Structural Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Charlotte. For further information about this position please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform forensic investigations on structural failures and damage.
Conduct structural analysis and root cause assessments.
Prepare clear, detailed reports for clients and legal teams.
Provide expert testimony in court or depositions.
Collaborate with legal, engineering, and construction teams.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to project development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
8+ years of structural engineering experience, with 3-5 years in forensic analysis.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Strong knowledge of structural analysis software and building codes.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with expert testimony is a plus.
