📍 Project Manager - High Voltage Transmission & Substation
Location: Vacaville, CA (with regional travel across Contra Costa & Alameda counties)

A well-established utility contractor is looking for a Project Manager to lead construction and maintenance projects across high-voltage transmission, distribution, and substation systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader in power infrastructure who thrives in a fast-paced, field-focused environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of high-voltage T&D and substation projects from planning through closeout.
Partner with safety, construction, and project controls teams to ensure compliance and timely execution.
Manage contracts, schedules, budgets, invoicing, and change orders.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Monitor cost reports and performance metrics to drive efficiencies.
Oversee documentation and reporting to ensure transparency and progress tracking.
Coordinate internal and external teams to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.
🎓 What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in project or construction management within the utility or infrastructure space.
Strong knowledge of project controls, cost tracking, and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, JD Edwards, QuickBase, etc. a plus).
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and financial documents.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel to regional sites as needed.
