Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of telecommunications systems across multiple projects.

  • Conduct technical requirements analysis, including site assessments, solution development, construction administration, and project oversight.

  • Serve as a Technology Designer, managing designs in alignment with master planning strategies and project construction requirements.

  • Provide post-design support, assisting with field conditions during bid negotiation, construction, and system installation phases.

  • Assess new client requirements and prepare detailed scope of work documents with associated pricing estimates.

  • Design and oversee technology systems to align with client needs, utilizing a strong understanding of applicable codes, ANSI standards, and industry best practices.

  • Manage and oversee the Seattle market portfolio for technology and low-voltage system projects, ensuring designs meet client expectations.

  • Perform QA/QC reviews on active construction projects and coordinate with contractors and implementation teams to ensure quality execution.

Experience:

  • RCDD Certification or equivalent
  • Proficiency in developing construction documents, including drawings and CSI-format specifications.

  • Experience with low-voltage and signal system design, including conduit sizing and pulling tension calculations.

  • Familiarity with audio-visual and security system technologies.

  • Proficient use of Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam software.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A minimum of 10 years of technical and project management experience related to telecommunications cable infrastructure.

  • Experience managing project designs and providing construction oversight is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards applicable to educational, healthcare, commercial, and federal facilities, particularly within the Washington region.

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
