Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of telecommunications systems across multiple projects.
Conduct technical requirements analysis, including site assessments, solution development, construction administration, and project oversight.
Serve as a Technology Designer, managing designs in alignment with master planning strategies and project construction requirements.
Provide post-design support, assisting with field conditions during bid negotiation, construction, and system installation phases.
Assess new client requirements and prepare detailed scope of work documents with associated pricing estimates.
Design and oversee technology systems to align with client needs, utilizing a strong understanding of applicable codes, ANSI standards, and industry best practices.
Manage and oversee the Seattle market portfolio for technology and low-voltage system projects, ensuring designs meet client expectations.
Perform QA/QC reviews on active construction projects and coordinate with contractors and implementation teams to ensure quality execution.
Experience:
- RCDD Certification or equivalent
Proficiency in developing construction documents, including drawings and CSI-format specifications.
Experience with low-voltage and signal system design, including conduit sizing and pulling tension calculations.
Familiarity with audio-visual and security system technologies.
Proficient use of Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of 10 years of technical and project management experience related to telecommunications cable infrastructure.
Experience managing project designs and providing construction oversight is highly desirable.
Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards applicable to educational, healthcare, commercial, and federal facilities, particularly within the Washington region.
