Our client, a top 20 ENR-ranked GC, is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts in Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities:
Lead preconstruction efforts for large-scale commercial projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Oversee conceptual and detailed estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Develop and manage preconstruction schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies.
Provide leadership to preconstruction teams, mentoring and guiding junior estimators and preconstruction staff.
Stay current on market trends, subcontractor relationships, and material pricing.
Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations and proposals.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in preconstruction and estimating for a commercial GC, and experience of projects $40M+.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven expertise in preconstruction for diverse sectors, such as healthcare, education, mixed-use, and industrial.
Strong analytical, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in estimating software.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
