Position Title: Asbestos Inspector
Location: Majority Field-Based (Parsippany, NJ and surrounding areas)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
Experience Required: 2-6 years in asbestos inspection or related field
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Asbestos Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in asbestos inspection or a related field. While specific asbestos licensure is not required at the time of hiring, the candidate must have the ability and willingness to obtain necessary certifications in the future. This role will primarily involve fieldwork, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough asbestos inspections in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Collect and analyze samples to determine the presence of asbestos.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding asbestos management.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of asbestos management plans.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of experience in asbestos inspection or a related field.
- Strong understanding of asbestos regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain necessary asbestos certifications in the future.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for fieldwork.
