Position: Structural Designer
Position Overview: This role is ideal for individuals with a background in structural or architectural design who are eager to contribute to a variety of projects, from commercial buildings to infrastructure developments. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to develop detailed designs and ensure the structural integrity of all projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural designs and plans using specialized software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety and stability of designs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate structural designs with other project elements.
- Prepare and review design documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess project conditions.
- Optimize designs to meet project requirements and budget constraints.
- Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and materials.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or ETABS is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience in structural or architectural design is highly desirable.
