Job Title: Remediation Project Manager, PG or PE
Job Description: Seeking a Remediation Project Manager to lead project teams in the petrochemical sector and other industries. Responsibilities include project management, technical leadership, business development, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams in investigation and remediation efforts.
- Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals.
- Develop and evaluate plans for major projects.
- Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced staff.
- Coordinate project studies, reports, and design assignments.
- Implement projects, ensuring QA/QC, scheduling, and budget management.
- Engage in marketing activities and maintain regular communication with clients, agencies, subcontractors, and other personnel.
- Prepare work plans, investigation reports, feasibility studies, remedial designs, and implementation plans for various regulatory programs.
- Manage technical aspects of investigation and remediation projects, including construction project implementation.
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams for projects ranging from large-scale remediation programs to smaller investigation and remediation sites.
- Participate in business planning and development efforts to support regional environmental practice growth.
- Balance billable and non-billable time effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience required (10 years preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license required.
- Experience with remediation regulatory programs is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding and current knowledge of remediation technologies and techniques.
- Experience in report, design, and bid package preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage technical projects and lead remediation design efforts.
- Ability to work effectively within a team framework.
- Self-motivation and the ability to multi-task (write reports, analyze data, perform design tasks, etc.) are essential.
- Must be able to handle a wide variety of project-related matters effectively.
