Ecological Project Manager
A multi-service national consulting company is looking for an Ecological Project Manager to join their team in Columbus, OH. You will join a team that thrives on solving problems and expertly navigating the complexities of today's environmental regulatory landscape. As a project manager, you are responsible for developing business through the utilization of your existing network and internal resources. You will oversee all aspects of the ecological projects, collaborating with engineers and interacting with clients, contractors, and agencies.
Technical expertise:
- Wetland and Section 401/404 permitting
- Experience with FERC & linear projects
- Endangered species surveys
- Endangered Species Act strategy and compliance
- Natural stream channel design and restoration
- Invasive plant control
- Habitat assessments
Requirements:
- Degree in natural sciences or related field
- 5+ years of experience in delineation and assessment of natural resources, natural resource impact permitting, and assessment/reporting for projects subject to National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements.
- Experience in Ohio & West Virginia Preferred
- Experience Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulations, and other agencies responsible for transportation, electric transmission, and renewable energy projects
- Ability to develop and mentor junior staff
- Business Development and client facing experience
Salary: $60K - $90K
