Job Opportunity: Water Resources Engineer
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Salary: $86=5,000 to $135,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Our client, a reputable and innovative engineering firm, is seeking a talented Water Resources Engineer to join their growing team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a wide range of impactful projects in the field of drainage systems, stormwater management (SWM), and erosion and sediment control (ESC). If you're looking to apply your expertise in water resources to meaningful projects, this position is for you.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with an EIT; Maryland Registered PE preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required; Master's degree (MSCE) a plus
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads preferred
  • Familiarity with InRoads Storm and Sanitary, WinTR-20, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, TR-55, and HY-8 is a plus
  • Experience with MDE and MDOT agency SWM and ESC review and permitting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and design open and closed drainage systems
  • Prepare pipe profiles, structure schedules, and SWM quantity and quality analysis and treatment designs
  • Design SWM structural and ESD BMP facilities
  • Prepare SWM and ESC milestone submissions for agency review and secure permits
  • Complete and compile technical reports
  • Coordinate with various project sections, including roadway, environmental, structures, surveys, and utilities
  • Prepare cost estimates and specifications
  • Liaise with clients and coordinate project efforts
