Traffic PM
This regional firm is growing in size and needs a Transportation/Traffic Project Manager to help reach clientele in the South Bay area by working a flexible hybrid schedule out of their Oakland or San Jose office with oversight and support from the Engineering Director.
Responsibilities
1. Support Northern California's civil teams, working on design elements within technical skill set, including:
-Traffic (signing/striping, roadway geometry, site layout)
-Structural (retaining walls, anchorage/restraints, etc)
-Civil (site grading/drainage, roads, parking lots)
2. Assist with public RFPs including:
-Prepare technical sections, schedules, fees
-Attend pre-bid meetings, coordinate teaming opportunities
3. Build upon existing client relationships
-Review agency CIPs
-Engage agency staff to discuss upcoming projects and opportunities
4. Mentor and train junior staff
-Work 1:1 with staff on specific topics
-Lead training sessions with small groups
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or related field(s)
2. 8+ years of transportation/civil engineering experience
3. California PE desired (but not required)
4. Strong business acumen in project planning and management
