Position: Structural Engineer
Position Overview: The company is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remotely or in a hybrid capacity, depending on your preference. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures, ensuring their safety, stability, and compliance with all relevant standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Develop structural designs for a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential structures. Perform detailed analyses to ensure the integrity and safety of these designs.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, construction teams, and other stakeholders to integrate structural requirements with aesthetic and functional goals. Ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Compliance and Standards: Stay updated on building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure all designs and constructions adhere to these requirements.
- Construction Oversight: Monitor construction processes to ensure that structural elements are built according to design specifications. Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, design calculations, and documentation for project approvals and reviews. Maintain accurate records of project progress and compliance.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
- A master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in designing and analyzing various types of structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools. Strong understanding of building codes and standards.
