Job Description
Position: Senior Structural Engineer
This role offers the opportunity to enhance one's career by contributing to a variety of building projects. The Structural Engineer will perform structural design, develop design documents, calculations, specifications, and oversee construction administration.
Responsibilities
- Design structural systems for various building types, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, mixed-use, and institutional buildings.
- Work with cast-in-place and post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood framing.
- Develop design documents, calculations, and specifications.
- Perform construction administration tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (required)
- Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred)
- Over seven years of experience in structural design, including various building systems and materials
- Professional Engineer Licensure (required); preference for Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as RISA 3D and RAM Structural System
- Experience with Revit (a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Relevant work experience in the U.S.
